Hiram has spent more than three decades advancing teaching, learning, and innovation in independent schools. He joined St. Christopher’s in Richmond in 1991 as a middle school science teacher, advisor, and coach and now serves as Director of Information Systems and Academic Technology. Beyond his work on campus, he served as the Executive Director of Blackbaud’s K–12 Advisory Board for five years, co-hosts the Talking Technology podcast, and was a 2021 Pillar Award recipient from the Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (ATLIS), where he also serves as a Board Member. Hiram earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the College of William & Mary, where he is also a member of the Athletics Hall of Fame.
